SEVEN THINGS TO DO WHEN STARTING UP YOUR VENTURE

When setting an organization, especially a small firm with employees less than ten it is very important to do these following things as a guideline for a successful implementation of strategies.
· When hiring your pioneer employees, it is not necessary to hire the smartest or the ones that have had good academic grades, hire the ones that bear the same passion as you, the ones that want to make things happen and have similar vision as you do.
· When you have an idea that you think needs to be implemented make sure you write it down, it gives you the inspiration to accomplish it.
· Create an environment where mistakes are acceptable, let the culture in your organization be positive and make sure to reward outstanding performers.
· When setting targets set reasonable ones, also make sure you communicate properly with employees on what is expected of them, remind them every day and make sure to provide them with resources that can aid them achieve the objectives.
· Don’t be in a hurry to gain lots of customers, just be sure you satisfy the ones you have, they will bring others to you.
· Have a detailed business plan, don’t just start the business without a business plan, a business plan tells you where you want to go and helps you get there.
· Lead by example, be the front runner of the business, the last to leave and the first to resume, don’t just delegate duties but be the action runner. Don’t forget to create teams.
Remember, if you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten.
